This category of membership is only available to our former visiting fellows who were elected to a University of Cambridge Centre of African Studies Visiting Fellowship sponsored by either the Isaac Newton Trust, the Leverhulme Trust, the A. G. Leventis Foundation or the Smuts Memorial Fund. All former Fellows are automatically entitled to Collaborative membership of the Centre for five years after their period of fellowship ends. This is non-renewable.
Collaborative Membership of the Centre is given on the understanding that the Managers of the Centre shall not be legally or financially responsible for the Member, nor obliged to assist the Member in securing financial support or living accommodation. Access to Faculties or Departments in the University and other facilities of the University such as the University Library and Computer Service is not conferred.
