2016 Cambridge Africa Day

The Day will be introduced by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz. Keynote addresses will be given by external guests: Professor Richard Leakey (Kenyan paleoanthropologist and conservationist), Mrs Toyin Saraki (Founder President of the Wellbeing Foundation Africa) and Professor Ebenezer Owusu (Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Legon).

There will also be a series of short but very interesting presentations about Cambridge’s involvement in research capacity building in African institutions, and the many mutually-beneficial collaborative research and development projects that Cambridge and African researchers and students are involved in, with a focus on AFRICA.
