Research Seminar Series, Lent 2012
The Centre's weekly seminar series features the work of prominent academics. Speakers aim to interest a wide audience, and the general public is encouraged to attend. The programme of seminars for Lent 2012, can be found here
The Africa Research Forum is an interdisciplinary discussion forum for postgraduate students and faculty members working on Africa-related topics. In recent years, the core members of the group have been historians and anthropologists, but we welcome participants from any discipline. We usually meet every fortnight during term-time in the Mond Building Seminar Room at the Centre of African Studies, to discuss 'works in progress' by postgraduate students as well as papers from faculty members and sometimes *visitors to the Centre.
