My research focussed on the policies of the Southern African Development Community in the political crisis in Zimbabwe since 2000. Before joining this MPhil course, I studied international political economy at Kyoto University in Japan, and international studies and diplomacy at SOAS. This course gave me a great opportunity to learn interdisciplinary approaches to doing research on African affairs.
