CAPREx Fellows

The CAPREx (Cambridge-Africa Partnership for Research Excellence) initiative (which is part of the Cambridge-Africa Programme) provides academic research and research management Fellowships for members of the University of Ghana, Legon, and Makerere University, Uganda. There are 4 research management Fellows per year, who undertake training with the University of Cambridge’s Research Operations Office, and there are up to 15 academic research Fellows who come to Cambridge per year to collaborate with a Cambridge-based academic with mutual research interests. The academic Fellows will work on a research project in any of the following disciplines: Engineering; Biological Sciences; Social Sciences; Humanities. Some of the Fellows with research projects in the social sciences and humanities will have their research office area located at the Centre of African Studies and therefore will frequently be at the Centre during their fellowship visit to Cambridge, which will last between 1-6 months.
