The Centre for African Studies at Cambridge concentrates a great deal of expert knowledge on Africa, alongside excellent facilities and staff who make time for their students. I took the MPhil as part of a small group - we were able to keep informed about each other's work, spend social time together, and help each other with research and writing up. The advice I received through the Centre was a great help when I decided to continue with research by applying for a PhD.
